Terms of Use

Website access, music licensing and intellectual property

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of federicovergagni.com. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

2. Ownership and intellectual property

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the website and its original content—including musical works, recordings, arrangements, orchestrations, scores, audio, videos, texts, graphics, photographs, artwork, branding, logo and website design—are owned by Federico Vergagni or used with permission and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.

No ownership or licence is transferred merely by viewing, streaming or linking to the website.

3. Music listening and licensing

Visitors may listen to and stream the music through the players provided for personal evaluation and enjoyment. Except where a valid licence expressly permits it, you may not reproduce, download, redistribute, publish, sample, adapt, synchronise, publicly perform, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit any music or recording available through the website.

Commercial licences offered through Pond5 or another licensing platform are governed by the terms and licence selected on that platform. Purchases and downloads offered through Bandcamp or other external stores are governed by the relevant platform’s terms. For direct licensing or commissioned work, contact [email protected].

4. Permitted and prohibited use

You may browse the website, share ordinary links to its public pages, and quote brief portions of text with appropriate attribution where permitted by law. You must not:

  • copy or republish substantial website content without permission;
  • circumvent technical restrictions or attempt unauthorised access;
  • interfere with the website’s operation, security or availability;
  • use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or contact information in an excessive or abusive manner;
  • misrepresent an affiliation with Federico Vergagni;
  • use the website or its content for unlawful, deceptive or infringing purposes.

5. Enquiries and professional services

Information about composition, arrangement, orchestration, mixing, mastering and other services is general and does not constitute a binding offer. A professional engagement exists only after scope, price, rights, delivery terms and any other relevant conditions have been agreed directly in writing.

6. External platforms and embedded content

The website includes embedded players and links to third-party services. Federico Vergagni does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, pricing, licences, purchases, data practices or terms of those external services. Their own terms apply when you use them.

7. Accuracy and availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website accurate and available, but content may be incomplete, changed or removed without notice. The website is provided on an “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Federico Vergagni is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on website content, inability to access the website, third-party services, or unauthorised use of content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Privacy

Use of personal data and browser storage is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookies & Analytics page.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the website, services or applicable rules change. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the date shown above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the competent Italian courts, without prejudice to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to consumers or other protected parties.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms or requests concerning use of protected content may be sent to [email protected].
